The polypropylene fabric is permeable to water and air and can help reduce the growth of unwanted plants while still allowing water and air to reach the soil. The fabric can be cut to size and adapted to different areas.

Instructions

1. Prepare: Clear the area of coarse weeds and level the soil.
2. Cut and lay: Cut the ShadowGuard™ fabric to size and lay it over the area, overlapping the edges by about 10 cm.
3. Secure: Secure the fabric with suitable ground stakes or other fasteners, then cover it as desired with gravel, bark mulch, or soil.

Pro tip: For existing plants, cut a cross-shaped slit in the fabric at the relevant spots so the plants can continue growing and the fabric fits as closely as possible.
