The polypropylene fabric is water- and air-permeable and can help reduce the growth of unwanted plants while still allowing water and air to reach the soil. The fabric can be cut to size and adapted to different surfaces.

Application

1. Prepare: Remove coarse weeds from the area and smooth the soil.
2. Cut and lay out: Cut the ShadowGuard™ fabric to size and lay it on the surface with an overlap of about 10 cm.
3. Secure: Fix the fabric with suitable ground anchors or other fasteners, then cover as desired with gravel, bark mulch, or soil.

Pro tip: For existing plants, cut the fabric crosswise at the appropriate spots so the plants can continue to grow and the fabric fits as closely as possible.
