Milling wooden bowls and having to reposition repeatedly because the tool doesn’t grip.

Anyone who works wood by hand knows the tedious reworking with inadequate attachments – the result remains rough, and control is lacking. This wood milling head made of hardened steel transforms any common angle grinder or drill with an M14 mount into a precise carving tool. With a 40 mm diameter, it works cleanly through softwood and hardwood – the result is smooth bowls, plates, and decorations straight from your own workshop.

    Advantages

    • No more hours of resanding: The cutting geometry of the hardened steel removes material in a controlled way – rough hand rework is eliminated and the workpiece is finished sooner.
    • No need to buy a second device: The M14 connection fits all common angle grinders and drills already in the workshop – no new tool required.
    • No worries about wrong materials: Hardened steel remains dimensionally and cutting stable permanently, so you don’t have to check after many uses whether the attachment is already dull or warped.

    Specifications

    • Material: Hardened steel
    • Diameter: 40 mm (4 cm)
    • Mount: Standard M14 for angle grinders
    • Compatibility: Angle grinders and drills
    • Application: All types of wood (softwood and hardwood)
    • Scope of delivery: 2x wood milling heads, 1x manual

    Usage

    1. Screw on: Screw the wood milling head onto the M14 mount of the angle grinder or drill and tighten by hand.
    2. Milling: Start the tool at low speed, place the milling head flat on the wood surface, and guide evenly in the direction of the grain.
    3. Reworking: For smooth hollow shapes, tilt the milling head slightly and continue working in circular motions until the desired depth and shape are reached.

Pro tip: For hardwoods like oak or beech, a medium speed and short strokes are recommended – this keeps the surface clean and prevents the milling head from overheating unnecessarily.
